    Hey June, excellent work!
You’re gifted: regardless of the medium, you can paint it beautifully.
I haven’t used oil in painting yet. But I have tried acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil, charcoal, and soft pastel. But you are definitely better in all of those mediums.

Keep it up June, you are providing us inspiration! 🙂

You are the one Inspiring me Arnold! It is so great to have your encourgment. I plan to upload a lot of artwork over time. There are hundreds of images. If you want to get a preview just go to my website: http://www.artzent.com. Or there is a place called Menu Item at the top of my page here. You can just click on that and it should take you there.

Oil is wonderful because you can cover any mistake and go at it again. Also it dries slowly and that’s an advantage when you work in good detail. I also love its blending propertys and the fact that its the most stable medium. You are right to start with other mediums. I start students with drawing, then colored pencil, then pastels, then watercolor, and finally oil. For me the favorite is the one that I am working in at the present. In other words I love them all. Try the oil it sounds like you are ready for it. If I can help you let me know. Thanks again
      June

YOU ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TALENTED!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m going to link to this posting, even though I should link to all your gorgeous art! This is the one talent I wish I had. My superpower dream: to translate in paint/oil/watercolor/pencil/charcoal/clay/any medium what I feel. What a blessing you have! I do hope you have many takers of your work. When I strike it rich, I’m putting one of those florals above the sofa! WOW!

Oh, you are such a sweetheart! Thank you for all the encouragement and wonderful compliments.
Come on over to Tallahassee, Florida and I can teach you in a heartbeat! I know that you are an artist; I see it in your writing and I wish that I could write like you. This is kinda new for me but I am having fun connecting with like minds. As far as the artwork goes you are just seeing the tip of the ice burg. Since writing is so slow for me I will be putting up more artwork and you can go to http://www.artzent.com and see quite a bit more. My son is updating on the site right now but you can see the artwork. If I can help you in any way just let me know.
