Wondering- as I work for an art school- if you have thought about teaching or do currently? You are talented and have a lot to share.
Hi Steph, Yes, I taught in public schools Jr college and lower levels for many years but now I only teach at my studio with a few selected students. My kids want me to write a teaching book but I am so busy now that I have to regard my blog as the only writing I can do. I would advise you to look for a good artist in your area and take private lessons as well as get you degree . Teachers in college are not always good artist and therefore are limited in what they teach and how but you need that piece of paper even if it is not as an art major. I Majored in biology as a pre med student for five years ans have never regretted it. If I can help you just let me know.
Oh I work for the school, am not getting my degree there. 🙂 However, painting lessons are on the list to take one day. 🙂

Hello June! I am trying to locate your daughter, Holly Watson – to send an invitation to our Jupiter High School 30 year Reunion. The only way I could think of to find her, was by searching for you! As a young teen, I vividly remember seeing your paintings when you lived in Jupiter – escpecially the one of (I think) Bob Hope and his wife holding hands (I think on a cruise ship overlooking the water) and the one of the father’s hands holding the baby’s feet! I love your website and your art!
